The Court also adjudicates divorces, dissolutions, the allocation of parental rights and responsibilities, child and spousal support enforcement and modification. View of the Courthouse Ground was broken for the Wood County Courthouse on November 28, 1893, after citizens decided to move the county seat from Perrysburg to Bowling Green.

Judge Mark Reddin is a native of Wood County. He graduated from Bowling Green High School and Bowling Green State University. He received his law degree from the University of Dayton. Prior to his election, Judge Reddin was in the private practice of law in Bowling Green, Pemberville, and surrounding counties.
